A note to you,

Whether you’re crushing on somebody, falling in love, married, or just beginning to consider dating, romance is a messy business. To be vulnerable and courageous can lead to happiness and, often, heartbreak. There is no “rule book” on how to go about finding a partner. It often takes several times to get it right, and even then, it may not last.

Personally, I describe romance as an opportunity to learn and grow through a more intimate connection. Each of us brings our flaws, learning how we work together, teaching each other along the way. Sometimes, the learning ends and it is time to move on to the next opportunity to grow and give. However, I can say certainly that we first must love ourselves before we can love another. I honestly cringe at the term, “you complete me,” because I firmly believe that I am complete just as I am. I hope you, too, share that sentiment before you continue your journey.

I hope you find that this is the start of a collaboration. I am on your side and want to support you in developing your confidence and exploring your options. It may take time and a lot of patience, but it is worth it. I look forward to our future endeavors, where I can offer support knowing that you are a unique individual on your unique journey.

Cheers!
