Speak Out Services, LLC is proudly located in the heart of Springfield, OR. Our practice currently offers evaluation and treatment of feeding & swallowing disorders, with a diverse range of speech & language services. *
We integrate authentic, family-centered and transdisciplinary approaches for treating neurodivergent infants-young adults.
We seek collaborative opportunities and community partnerships. We advocate and provide support for families with children currently receiving special education services through an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) within the public schools.
Our mission— speaking out against the status quo in order for our most vulnerable and marginalized individuals to be heard!

Driven by applied research, diverse experiences, including special education leadership, Speak Out Services specialties include:
Autism, with emphasis on the underrepresentation of females and non-binary people;
ADHD/ADD;
Apraxia, dysarthria, and oral-motor deficits;
Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing disorders (Dysphagia), including impacts of oral tethers on cranio-facial development;
Dyslexia and phonological impairments;
Cerebral Palsy;
Down Syndrome;
Stuttering;
Behavioral challenges; and,
Trauma and the impacts of Poverty on learning.

On November 1, 2023, the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) issued new developmental milestones in the areas of communication (hearing, speech, and language) and feeding and swallowing for children ages birth to 5 years.
These milestones were used to support the CDC’s “Learn the Signs and Act Early” Initiatives. Click the links for more information.
